“Do not grieve over past joys, be sure they will reappear in another form...”

“Working with David was a gift. Whenever he was part of the project, or even in the same room, I knew things were going to be OK and we were going to have fun along the way. He was the bright spot in all interactions who could easily slide from professional to personal without missing a beat. David was kind, smart, sweet, and thoughtful. I smile remembering his bouncy step down the hallway, and my heart hurts with all those who miss this man.”

I remember David as an outgoing and genuine man. The first week of my freshman year at ULV I was exploring all the different clubs and I had never heard of A Capella Barbershop singing before. David was one of the first people I met and I could tell right away he loved engaging with people and sharing his passion for singing and I was hooked. Only a few months later, me David and the rest of 3rd St Sound were in Reno singing together on stage and building a snowman in the hotel parking lot. I owe a lot of my love for Barbershop to David and I’m forever grateful for him and the impact he had in our community.
